Our vines |
Only 14 kilometres from Barcelona, we have 50 hectares of old and young vines which allow us to produce nearly 80% of the grapes needed for the production of our wines. As well as a guided-tour through the wine cellar, it is also possible to have a walk through the vines along the Rials Valley, with their spectacular views of the sea, our vineyards and the city of Barcelona behind them. |

In 2001 nearly 15.000 vines were planted on the sunny side of the mid level Rials Valley (between 200 and 350 metres). Because of the considerable slope, terraces were created where the vines have been planted. Even though the varieties have a more northern character than those in our area, clones of high quality and low production adapted to hot areas have been selected. From the outset, the results have been of excellent quality, leading to a product with a marked personality, very different from other vines of the same variety. The grape will form part of the MARFIL CRIANZA and IVORI TINTO blend. |
