  Visit To Vineyard
Are you an authentic wine enthusiast? Do you want to know, from the beginning, how we make MARFIL wines? In ALELLA VINICOLA we offer you the possibility of total immersion in wine making processes: from the vine to the bottle.

We will get to know one of the last “urban vineyards” in Europe, situated 20 kilometres from Barcelona. We will walk among the vines, through our modernist winery – an authentic centennial jewel – and taste three MARFIL wines.

The visit to the vineyard and winery hope to familiarise the visitor with the following:
- The geology of the Alella D.O. (Denominated Origin)
- The traditional varieties of the area (“Pansa Blanca” – white and “Garnacha Tinta” – red)
as well as the more recent implants (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shyraz…).
- Biological cycle of the vineyard.
- Vine growing techniques: cultivation, pruning, watering systems.
- Grape harvest.
- Processes for making red and white wines.
- Bottling

We do the visit on food, through easy and pleasant pathways, taking approximately three hours. Explanations can be given in Spanish, Catalan or English.

The visit to the vineyard are by arrangement for groups of at least ten people (for more reduced groups, consult our programme of visits open to the public).

Own vehicle required to get to the vineyard.
